About
Wendy Wong is an illustrator & designer, originally from Manchester, now based in London. She studied fashion textiles at the University of the Arts London, graduating with honours in 2014. After which, she gained experience working in the Design and Retail industries. In 2019, she went freelance.
Specialising in editorial illustration, she often interprets adult themes, drawn in a childish yet charming way.
Inspired by awkward body shapes, cartoons and her own life experiences; her style is graphic and bold with its use of colour and line work. Wendy's illustrations could be described as silly, low-brow, sometimes irreverent but always full of joy, humour and positivity.
Clients include:
Ajinomoto, Refinery29, Bloomberg Businessweek, Tripadvisor, Pit Magazine, Creative Boom, Museum Journal, Made.com, Otherway, Beer52/Ferment
